Dwelling Place becomes Dwelling Place Northwest

Dwelling Place began in 2013 as a ministry of Western Washington Catholic Charismatic Renewal (WWCCR). Hosting healing night services at two Seattle-area Catholic churches, Dwelling Place has seen many healings and many individuals touched by their encounters with the Father. Five years into ministry, Dwelling Place leaders began to hear God's call into deeper waters and we have now stepped out as an independent ministry organization called Dwelling Place Northwest. Our steering team is seeing God bring people, partnerships, and direction that points us beyond what we imagined in the early days. While we do not anticipate immediate changes to the current healing nights, we are preparing for additional programs to emerge as God brings us the people and resources to accomplish them.

Dwelling Place Northwest is a Christian ministry that helps people to encounter the living God, experience healing, and come into a deeper relationship with Him. To do this we yield to the lordship of Jesus with absolute surrender to the Holy Spirit. We recognize that, in God, we live move and have our being. We are transformed by daily dwelling in His presence as a way of life, where we see Jesus moving among us in miracles, signs, and wonders. Yielding to this invitation leads us to authentic presence with others who are seeking relationship with God.

Dwelling Place seeks to spread these encounter experiences and revitalize parish life in our region by mentoring, training, and equipping the next generation of Catholic Christian lay leaders in the Pacific Northwest. Though our faith is Catholic, our programs and events are ecumenical in nature as we pursue and carry hope for unity in the Body of Christ.
